Even though Punjab Congress Chief Navjot Sidhu openly backed Charanjit Singh Channi’s candidacy as the Punjab Chief Minister face for Congress, Sidhu seems to be visibly upset with Congress High Command’s decision. The rift came out in public, when Sidhu refused to address a rally in Punjab’s Dhuri in presence of Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi. When his name was called out on the stage, Sidhu gestured from his seat to let CM Channi speak first. Priyanka Gandhi was campaigning for Balvir Singh Goldy who is contesting from Dhuri Assembly seat in Sangrur constituency against AAP Candidate Bhagwant Mann. Watch this video for more details.
